Tomas Lindberg is similar to Phil Anselmo in the way that he is involved with so many side projects, especially now that At The Gates reign is over.
Lock Up is like Bloodbath because it is a newer project, featuring esteemed artists who have made fame in other groups, such as Lindberg (At The Gates, The Great Deceiver) and Pintando of Napalm Death.
The album begins with a call to arms of Tomas shouting "play from your fucking heart!" and they certainly do this on 'Hate Breeds Suffering'.
Their years of combined experience shine throughin the form of coherent but chaotic songs and the pre quality and 'headbang factor' of the riffs. All aspects of the music are fantastic as each member is talented with their instrument.
My only complaint is that the snare drum pisses me off a bit. I want to hear a hell-crash to peirce the soul! Not a dry, hollow crack sounding like someone has snapped a twig. Otherwise a very good album.
